  1.                       ARCserve Server NLM V3.0A

  4.     Included with ARCserve V3.0A is a patch program provided by Novell
  5.     called PATCH31.NLM.  This patch correct problems with the CLIB.NLM
  6.     shipped with Netware version 3.1.  
  7.  
  8.     The new ARCserve, along with PATCH31 enables ARCserve to accomplish
  9.     the previously unsupported operations:
  10.  
  11.     * Unattended Backup/Restore of remote 286 File Server's Hidden and
  12.         System files including the Bindery and Trustees
  13.  
  14.     * Unattended access of remote 286 File Server Volumes
  15.         other than SYS:
  16.  
  17.     * Archiving will now preserve Directory and File "Trustee Rights"
  18.  
  19.  
  20.     Due to some constraints in the current version of Novell's CLIB.NLM,
  21.     the following features are currently not supported:
  22.  
  23.     - MAC support (Backup, Restore or Archiving) on remote 286/386
  24.         file servers in the Unattended mode.

  26.     - Backup files/directories from Portable NetWare

  30.     INSTALLATION PROCEDURE FOR ARCserve
  31.  
  32.     The NLM's should be loaded in the following sequence:
  33.  
  34.     Load CLIB     (CLIB will automatically load STREAMS).
  35.     Load PATCH31
  36.     Load TAPEDRV or TAPEDU  (Use TAPEDU if you do not have tape support).
  37.     Load ARCSERVE
